Tenth Woman’s Body Found in South Africa as Investigation Expands

JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA: South African authorities are investigating after the body of another woman was discovered in Soweto, bringing the number of recently discovered women’s bodies in the wider Johannesburg area to 10.

Police have not confirmed that all the cases are connected. Three people have been arrested in connection with one of the killings.

The discoveries have caused widespread concern and renewed attention on violence against women in South Africa. 
