United States immigration authorities have added 10 Nigerians to a list highlighting foreign nationals arrested over alleged criminal offences.
Reports say the cases involve allegations including fraud, identity theft, drug offences and child-related offences.
The names were published through US immigration authorities’ public information system.
Being placed on the list does not by itself amount to a criminal conviction, and individual cases remain subject to the US legal and immigration processes.
Monafrika Take: The development is another reminder of the importance of Nigerians living abroad complying with immigration and criminal laws in their host countries.
