Kenya Aviation Strike Ends After Government Agreement

A two-day strike by aviation workers in Kenya has ended following an agreement between the workers’ union and government authorities.

The industrial action disrupted operations at major airports, including Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, causing flight delays and cancellations.

The Kenya Aviation Workers Union had raised concerns involving labour relations, employment practices and negotiations over workers’ conditions.

A return-to-work agreement has now been signed, with workers directed to resume normal operations.
