Over the weekend in Omole, Ikeja, Lagos, two beautiful hearts came together in love and celebration as Olamide Precious and Ayobami Praise began their journey as husband and wife.
Their story is a beautiful reminder that love knows no boundaries. It does not care about background, social status, culture, or where you come from.
The Bride
Olamide was born into the family of Late Chief Seto and Late Mrs Yeyevi. Although both of her parents are late and originally from the Republic of Togo, Olamide was born and raised in Nigeria. She had her primary, secondary, and tertiary education in Nigeria.
She is a strong and hardworking businesswoman. After the death of her mother, Olamide took over her mother’s food business. She worked hard to keep the business going and continued serving the customers her mother had built over the years.
How They Met
Ayobami came into Olamide’s life at the time she was going through some difficult times. Ayobami introduced her to a church and encouraged her to trust God for a breakthrough from the hard times she was facing then. As they spent more time together, they discovered that there was something special between them. Their friendship grew stronger, and before long, love began to take its place.
The Proposal
In April 2026, Ayobami asked Olamide the big question: “Will you marry me?”
It was a question that many young men may find difficult to ask, but Ayobami found the courage to take that important step.
Exactly one week later, Olamide gave him her beautiful “Yes.”
And just like that, a new chapter of their love story began.
The Introduction
In June 2026, Ayobami and his family officially visited Olamide’s family to make their intentions known.
Ayobami’s family was warmly welcomed by Olamide’s family, and both families gave their blessing and consent for the marriage.
It was the beginning of a beautiful union between two families.
The Wedding
On 15 August 2026, Olamide and Ayobami finally sealed their love with marriage.
Surrounded by more than 300 family members, friends, and loved ones, they exchanged their vows and promised to love, support, and cherish each other.
The family compound was filled with colour, laughter, music, happiness, and beautiful memories. Both families came together as one to celebrate the couple and their new journey.
A Love Beyond Borders
Olamide’s story connects Nigeria and Togo, while Ayobami brings his roots from Osun State, Nigeria. Their union shows us something beautiful:
